Driver's age
25 to 99 years.
Customers who fall outside the age limitations will not be able to hire a car unless there is a young or senior driver fee specified in this section. Please note that if applicable, this fee will be included in the rental price and will be payable on arrival at the rental desk in the local currency.
Travel Restrictions
Cross Border: Please note that a border crossing fee of 36.60 € (including tax) per rental will apply when travelling abroad.
Hertz vehicles cannot be driven into and/or dropped off in any African, Asian or Middle-East countries, nor in Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Ireland, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia (Kosovo area), Turkey, Ukraine or any island.
Hertz vehicles may be driven into but not dropped in*: Andorra, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Finland, Montenegro, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Serbia (except Kosovo) and UK.
*specific vehicle groups only.
Should these restrictions be ignored all insurance (Third Party Liability, CDW, TP, PAI), if accepted, shall be deemed, null and void. The driver will be held fully responsible in case of accidents and will bear all consequences, including the cost of repatriation of the damaged vehicle.
Optional extras:
Only available at Lisbon, Faro and Porto Airports. If the Return location of the equipment is different from the pick-up location the customer will have to pay 50,00 €.
